The Laboratory

At Reaper Fabrics, I spend a lot of time developing innovative products under my own brand—but the bulk of my work comes from OEM manufacturing for bigger companies and creators in the tactical gear space. Over the past year, that's been my main focus, and now I'm excited to open those same high-quality services to individuals, small businesses, and even larger brands looking for design review, prototyping, or production runs.

Whether you have a fresh idea for a pouch, sling, carrier accessory, or full kit—or you're already running a small brand and need help scaling—I can take it from concept to market-ready product.

From Idea to Reality

As a formally trained designer, I'm proficient in Adobe Illustrator and create precise, manufacturing-ready technical sketches to lock in every detail before a single stitch. Once the drawings are solid, I cut and sew the first prototype in-house.

After you receive and test it, we do a fit session (virtual or in-person) where you share feedback on dimensions, functionality, ergonomics, or features. Typically, it takes 2–3 iterations to refine it into a durable, market-worthy product ready for production.

Low or No MOQ – Flexible for the Little Guy

In manufacturing, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) is the smallest batch a shop will produce—often in the thousands of units or high dollar minimums to cover setup costs. Big factories (especially overseas) commonly demand 5,000+ units or container loads, and my first job had a $50,000 MOQ floor.

That's not realistic for most innovators, startups, or side-hustle brands. Here at Reaper Fabrics, I'm far more flexible. Whether you're starting with a handful of prototypes, testing a small run (dozens to low hundreds), or scaling up, let's discuss your project's size, scope, and quantity. I specialize in low- or no-MOQ work to help bring your vision to life without the barriers.

Capabilities

I've got the industrial tools and know-how for tactical gear manufacturing: laser cutting, triple-feed walking-foot sewing machines, and more. My experience spans experimental parachutes built to PIA standards, ultra-durable radio pouches, Tegris-reinforced headlamp mounts, and everything in between.

Staple materials I work with daily include:

500D & 1000D Cordura

Laminates & Curve thermoplastic

Velcro, Kevlar, Nyspan, Neoprene

Various meshes and specialty fabrics

I can source just one yard or full rolls—whatever your project needs.
